How to make Baked Mussels:
Add the mussels in a large saucepan with a little water and bring to a boil.
Occasionally shake the mussels.
They are ready when they are all open. ( about 5 minutes)
Place half the flour in a jar and add gradually under constantly stirring the water to it until you get a smooth mixture. Mix the egg and the remaining flour under constantly stirring until you get a smooth mixture.
Season with salt and pepper.
Put a dash of peanut oil in a pan and heat it over high heat.
Dip the mussels in batter and fry until golden brown.
Ingredients for Baked Mussels:
- 500 grams of fresh mussels
- 200 ml of water
- 125 g flour
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper
